Lucozade Energy - Pink Lemonade - Limited Edition

This is new and unfortunately limited edition. I love the packaging and it tastes really nice, i would describe it as lemonade with red berries.

Barry M - Web Effect (239) , Teal (223), Gelly Pomegranate (235)

I noticed this new nail polish in a local Superdrug today, i received it free after buying two other items from the Barry M counter (shown below). This offer also includes the Croc effect nail paints.

I'm not sure when it was released as there is no information online, but it is the first time i have seen it.

My nails are not in the best condition after recently removing acrylics but i will get a swatch up soon.

I bought two other nail paints which are the Teal which is a metallic blue green and Pomegranate from the new Gelly range which is a deep pink.

My Current Soap and Glory Must Haves

These are all the (nut free) Soap and Glory products i have used over the year and have repurchased or will repurchase. (especially if it's during the 3 for 2 at boots!)
I love how they do what they say they do and the packaging is stunning.
(Please click the names for links to the products)

£11.00 50ml

A moisturiser designed to 'smooth away wrinkles, rejuvenate, firm, and protect your skin',

I use this every morning under make up and it makes my skin feel very smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy. It sinks in quickly and smells delicious.  A little goes a long way.

Face Soap And Clarity 3 In 1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash

 £7.00 150ml

I have repurchased this a few times,  it is not drying even though i use it twice a day.

It foams up well so no more than a grape sized amount is needed and it leaves a lovely fresh and clean feeling on my face, whilst removing the last traces of my make up.
I have noticed that my skin in brighter since using this and i also do not get the tight dry feeling i used to with my old cleanser.
I really want to try Peaches and Clean as it is highly raved about, but i love this too much.

The Fab Pore Facial Peel

£8.00 15ml

This is great for reducing pore size, it is a cream textured mask that is washed off. I use this twice a week and one the areas where i feel i need it.

A small amount is needed and meant to be rubbed into the skin until the green beads disappear.
I apply as in described in my post here. I have repurchased this but to my surprise i am still using the first tub as i only use a small amount each time.

£7.00 200ml

I also have a blog post of this product
here, as it was one of the earlier Soap and Glory products i had tried and loved. I have repurchased this a few times.
The first thing i absolutely love is the smell, which is a mixture of fresh bergamot and mandarin, rose, jasmine, peach, strawberry, oakmoss, amber, woody notes and warm vanilla.
It does the job without being too harsh on the skin.
Results are obvious straight away and i use this a few times a week.

The Greatest Scrub Of All

£9.00 125ml

The results are obvious from first use which is why i love using this a few times a week.

I have sensitive skin and a nut allergy as mentioned before and it is difficult to find an amazing scrub that i can actually use. It is so gently but really works.
There is a clean minty sort of smell which some may not like but i think it adds to the refreshing feel of it.
There is no greasy residue left behind and i have noticed that my skin is smoother and no longer dull.
A little product goes a long way which means it lasts for ages.
I just wish it had a flip lid so it is easier to use in the shower.

Off Your Face Cleansing Face Wipes

25 Wipes

These are the only make up wipes which thoroughly remove my make up and leave my skin feeling refreshed and not at all drying.

I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes so i was pleased to find out that these do not sting.
There have been mixed reviews which is why i chose to try these during the 3 for 2 offer and i have then repurchased them. They also stay fresh and moist which is a bonus.

Supereyes, Supereyes  Wide Awake Lifting Eye Gel

£9.00 15ml

I use this eye gel twice a day, under my make up in the morning and alone at night. Although i didn't have very dark under eye circles to review on, i definitely noticed that my eyes felt refreshed and the skin underneath was tightened.

Only a small amount is needed and works well under make up rubbed in lightly until it is absorbed.

I have also tried Make Yourself Youthful eye cream but i didn't find it to have any effect on my under eyes and it costs £12 for 15ml.

Recent NOTD's

A few of the polishes i have been wearing recently that all have similar consistencies (Please click on the words that are pink for links of where to buy items)

Models Own - Golden Peach
As the name suggests, this polish is a peach with golden shimmers and true to the colour in the bottle. This is how it looks with 2 coats but it could do with another or layered over a base colour as it is a sheer colour but dries quickly.

Gosh - Golden Dragon (not online at the moment but can be found in superdrug)
This polish is also true to colour, sheer and fast drying. Although it does appear more shimmery in the bottle. It is a deep bluey green with golden shimmers.
I do not normally wear green polishes but i really enjoy wearing this one as it's so different and pretty.
The cap is a little soft making it awkward for some people to hold and the brush is shorter than most.

Barry M - Silvery Lilac
This is quite a new edition to Barry M, It is sheer and a blue toned shimmery silver lilac. It takes a few coats to get the colour of the bottle.  Would look better layered as a top coat.

My current go to top and base coats
OPI Nail Envy and Sally Hansen Mega Shine
They both dry quickly, the base coat does a good job of protecting the nail bed from darker colours and the top coat leaves a lovely shiny protective coat.

I was lucky enough to receive a new camera from my husband for our anniversary so hopefully the picture quality will be better. :)

New from Barry M - Chameleon Colour Change Nail Paint

Barry M have once again come out with another nail art type polish!
This time there are three colour changing paints which work by appling a clear topcoat.
The lid indicates which colour the topcoat will make the nail paint.

For some reason i haven't heard about these anywhere and they are not yet available online but are £3.99 in Superdrug and Boots.

There are a Chameleon pink, Chameleon lilac and Chameleon blue. I picked up lilac and pink as i didn't think much of the burgundy colour that the blue had.

The Chameleon Lilac is very silvery and turns a blue toned jelly purple.

The Chameleon Pink is salmon pink and also becomes a jelly purple.

I have only had a chance to test out the pink and went for a simple french tip, although i think a dotting tool or fine brush would give better results for nail art.

I was so excited to try this out so i didn't bother with a base coat which was a bad idea as it stained really badly.
I really liked the formula as it dried quickly and is a lovely colour even without the Chameleon effect.

Collective Haul plus mini reviews

Make Up

I purchased this in black originally and loved it. Great for the upcoming warm weather or holidays as they don't budge.
I actually quite like the look of them and love that there are already a number of colours released including, Black, Purple, Blue, Silver Gold, Bronze and Gun Metal.

The two i picked up are a lovely deep metallic blue and a shimmery purple.
They are both creamy and pigmented.

Lovely creamy formula which is moisturising on the lips. Beehive is sheer and the lid is very loose but Barely Blush has good pigmentation and sturdy packaging.

I wasn't too keen on the drying feel of the lipstick but i like the overall look of the lipstick and gloss together. The glitter in the topcoat can be felt on the lips but it is not sticky.
Not all of the colours are matte and drying and have very good reviews but i personally wouldn't recommend this particular one.

Love the colours but can take a few layers for colour payoff with Wild Purple and Wild Green.
They are very cream and glide onto the eyelids nicely although they do crease.
